A Spring Full of Learning, Collaboration, and Growth

Spring months have passed quickly, and looking back, they have been filled with meaningful encounters, inspiring discussions, and valuable learning experiences. As a trainer, I have once again had the privilege of meeting people who do their work with dedication and heart, and from whose experiences I also learn every time. I have had the opportunity to train activity supervisors again – people whose daily work is to support others on their life journeys. These training days have included honest conversations, sharing of experiences, and joint reflection on how to be professional, aware, and at the same time human in one’s work. I am always deeply touched by participants’ openness and willingness to speak about both their successes and their challenges. It is in such discussions that the most valuable learning often emerges.

I also had the pleasure of briefly meeting members of the TUKO network during an online seminar focused on teamwork and network collaboration. These encounters once again confirmed how important cooperation is – both within organisations and between different partners. No professional truly works alone, and the best results are achieved when people are willing to trust one another, share knowledge, and work towards shared goals. It was a joy to see how much expertise, experience, and dedication exists within this network.

Growth Through Challenges and Recognition

Spring did not bring only successes and smooth training days. It also included a fair share of “learning through mistakes,” as technical issues interfered more strongly than expected. As a trainer, I always aim to provide participants with a high-quality and well-functioning learning experience, and this time things did not go quite as planned. Looking back, I am in a way grateful for this experience. Yes, in the moment it was uncomfortable, it caused frustration, and required quick adaptation. At the same time, it clearly reminded me that a trainer’s work is not only about good preparation, but also about the ability to handle unexpected situations, stay calm, and find solutions in circumstances that cannot be foreseen.

Three Erasmus+ TCA seminars=three valuable experience

International collaboration is one of my key professional and personal development goals, as it broadens perspectives and allows me to explore different approaches and solutions that can also be integrated into a local context. Working with people from other cultures provides inspiration, fosters creativity, and helps discover new ways to share and apply knowledge in practice. It offers the opportunity to learn from others’ experiences, build lasting connections, and develop project and training networks that enrich the work of both participants and the wider community. Additionally, it teaches flexibility, empathy, and problem-solving in multicultural environments—skills I consider invaluable in both the education and social sectors.

Participating in Erasmus+ international TCA seminars (see "International Experiences and Projects" ) has enriched my knowledge and experience, and given me motivation to implement new ideas. All of these seminars have inspired me and reinforced my belief that collaboration is enriching, especially when a valuable base of knowledge and experience already exists. I believe that international communication, exchange of experiences, and cooperation create more flexible, innovative, and meaningful initiatives in both education and social work.

Through these seminars, I have gained numerous contacts and established new connections with people, whom I am moving forward toward meaningful collaborations and projects!
